Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered in a search box is sent to the outside provider that supplies that result path. Our servers do not retain a copy of that search. If you contact us, we use the information in your message to answer it.
Automatic Technical Data
Hosting systems may record routine logs such as IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and time stamps. We review aggregated activity to operate and improve the service. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics or advertising measurement.
How Information Is Used
Limited data is used to run the service, diagnose faults, measure traffic, and improve reference material. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
External Services
Official Union County, New Jersey, library, archive, and court links have their own privacy practices. The same is true of the sponsored search provider. Review the policy of any outside service before sending it information.
Service Providers and Legal Requests
Hosting, analytics, and support providers may process routine technical information for us. We disclose information when valid legal process requires it, and otherwise only as needed to operate the service.
Security and Retention
The service uses an encrypted connection and keeps technical logs only for the operational purposes described here. Because there are no user accounts, this service does not maintain a visitor password or user profile.
Visitors Under 18
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect a minor's personal information. Contact us if you believe a minor has sent information and we will address the request.
Choices About Your Data
Depending on residence, a visitor may have rights to request access, correction, or deletion of personal data a service holds. New Jersey has no general consumer-privacy statute identified in the project research; requests about visitor data may be sent through the Contact page. Public records held by a city, county, or state custodian are outside our control. New Jersey Open Public Records Act requests go to that custodian under N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq.
Policy Changes
A revised policy will be posted here. Continuing to use the service after publication means the revised version applies.
